Magalu Janaki Fame Shobha Passes Away in a Car Crash, Kannada Filmmaker TN Seetharam Expresses Grief

Magalu Janaki fame Shobha died in a road accident after their car rammed into a truck. This took place in the outskirts of Chitradurga town in Karnataka on July 17. Reportedly, Shobha and eight others were travelling to Banashankari temple in Badami taluk in Bagalkot district. In the accident, five people lost their lives, while three others have suffered major injuries.

Kannada TV actress Shobha, who is best known for her character in the very popular TV series Magalu Janaki, has died in a fatal car crash in the outskirts of Chitradurga town in Karnataka on Wednesday (July 17). According to a report in IBTimes, the actress, who was travelling with couple of other people, met with a fatal accident when their car rammed into a truck. Reports also suggest that there were eight people who were travelling to Banashankari temple in Badami taluk in Bagalkot district. While five people lost their lives on the spot, three others have suffered major injuries.

Confirming the reports, Magalu Janaki director TN Seetharam took to social media (Facebook) to share a picture of her and wrote a note in the Kannada language. Meanwhile, according to the police, the accident took place due to the driver's negligence.

Talking to the web portal, the filmmaker TN Seetharam expressed his grief over her death and said, "Ever smiling and highly talented actress Shobha, who was doing the role of Mangala, is no more. I am shocked over the tragedy and expressing my condolence to her family." Stay tuned!
