Soundarya Rajinikanth's wedding to actor-businessman Vishagan Vanangamudi on Monday was quite a grand affair. The wedding took place in Chennai and had some of the biggest stars grace the celebration. The superstar also threw a lavish wedding reception which had all the right amount of pizzazz.

Donning a gorgeous red embellished bridal lehenga, Soundarya looked like a sight to the sore eyes. To match her beautiful ensemble, husband Vishagan also opted to keep his look as dapper as possible in a white and black formal suit. Among her guests at the wedding were Bollywood actress Kajol, who worked with Soundarya in VIP 2, Kamal Haasan, DMK leaders MK Stalin and state's CM K Palaniswami.

As from the South film industry, a plethora of celebrities such as Mohan Babu, Vishnu Manchu, Prabhu, Vikram Prabhu, Andrea Jeremiah and Manjima Mohan were present. Filmmakers P Vasu, KS Ravikumar, Selvaraghavan and Kasthuri Raja were also present at the wedding along with actress Aditi Rao Hydari. This is Soundarya and Vishagan's second marriage. Soundarya ventured into the film space starting off as a graphic designer to later graduating in filmmaking and directing films like Kochadaiyaan and VIP 2. She was previously married to industrialist Ashwin Ramkumar and the couple have a son named Ved. Vishagan, also a divorcee, is the executive director of Apex Laboratories Pvt Ltd. He also made his film debut last year. We wish the couple all the happiness and joy as they start this new journey!
