With another Friday upon us, TRP ratings for the week 19 has been finally released by Broadcast Audience Research Council (BARC). that shows us whether or not our favourite TV shows topped the charts or failed to impress the fans or even worse, slipped from their top spots. As it's time we see the statistics of the previous week (May 10 - 16, 2019) that are here, let me tell you, there isn't much difference as the top four shows once again are of TV Czarina Ekta Kapoor's. While Shabir Ahluwali and Srithi Jha's Kumkum Bhagya holds onto its top spot amid reports suggesting that the show is losing its charm post the generation leap, Parth Samthaan and Erica Fernandes starrer Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 has yet again entered the list of top 5 shows. Looks like the lead pair's on-screen chemistry, the interesting storyline and the new twists are winning the hearts of audiences despite Hina Khan aka Komolika's exit. Kumkum Bhagya
Shabir Ahluwali and Srithi Jha's Kumkum Bhagya holds onto its top spot. Despite reports suggesting that the show is losing its charm post the generation leap, it has topped the charts this week too. Well, this doesn't surprise us as Ekta Kapoor's love saga Kumkum Bhagya, which has received tremendous response from the audiences in week 19, makes it to the top position almost every time.
Kundali Bhagya
Ekta Kapoor's Kundali Bhagya, starring Dheeraj Dhoopar and Shraddha Arya in the lead roles, has been placed on the second position this week. Kundali Bhagya, which is a spin-off of Kumkum Bhagya, is not only in the top five shows on BARC’s (Broadcast Audience Research Council India) list of most watched shows in the country but also managed to climb up on the charts to bag the second spot.
Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2
Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2, starring Parth Samthaan and Erica Fernandes in the lead roles, was on the fourth spot last week but enters the list of top 3 shows this week. Well, thanks to the makers of Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2, who are leaving no stone unturned to keep the viewers hooked on to their television sets with its drama-packed episodes.
Naagin 3
Ekta Kapoor's supernatural show Naagin 3, which had managed to climb up on the charts to secure the second spot, is on the fourth position, making it to the top five shows in TRP ratings this week.
Mahima Shani Dev Ki
Mahima Shani Dev Ki, which airs on Dangal, breaks all the myths and misunderstandings about Lord Shani (Saturn), one of the nine heavenly objects known as Navagraha in Hindu astrology. The show bags the fifth spot in the TRP charts. Watch this space for further updates.
