And it is that time of the year when Bigg Boss returns. The Salman Khan hosted controversial reality show will be returning to its original format of roping in all celebrities this time, thus doing away with its commoners’ section after the debacle that the previous few seasons have been. Also, the set has been shifted from Lonavala to Mumbai’s Filmcity in Goregaon. As Bigg Boss 13’s premiere date comes close, more and more names are coming up as probable contestants of the show. And joining the list today are actor and singer Karan Oberoi and writer Abu Malik, the younger brother of music composer Anu Malik.

In a TOI report, it is being said that Karan is in talks with the makers to be a part of the controversial reality show. The actor and Band of Boys singer came to fore this year when he was arrested on charges of raping and extortion by a tantric-healer. After the complainant was later arrested on charges of falsifying the case and also for orchestrating an attack on herself. Karan was subsequently released and his incident also gave rise to the ‘#MenToo’ movement. “Karan is a good name to be added to the list this season and we are hoping that things will fall into place," quoted a source to the portal.

Another name that has come up is that of Abu Malik, music composer Anu Malik’s brother, who is a musician and also a writer and a live shows organiser. As per a report in TOI, Abu has accomplished close to 10,000 shows all around the world and has given the nod to enter the show.

This time around, the celebrity contestants’ names include Devoleena Bhattacharjee, Arti Singh, Siddharth Shukla, Rashami Desai, Arhaan Khan, Dalljiet Kaur, Koena Mitra and Ashwini Koul.
