While the Bombay Times report did not mention the reason, it simply stated that the show will be going off air in the month of August. Vish – A Poisonous Story replaced the Adaa Khan- Arhaan Behl starrer Vish Ya Amrit Sitara back in June. The show centres around actors Debina Bonnerjee and Krip Kapur Suri and the various mysteries surrounding their characters Vishaili and Vishaila respectively. The show also stars Vishal Vashishtha and Sana Maqbool Khan in the lead roles.

However, we now have concrete information that the show will end not in August but in September. A source tells us, “Vish is not going off air. Well, that’s not all. We have also been informed that the channel is planning and is in talks for a spin-off of the series. While details are still being worked out, we do hear that the spin-off will be happening after Bigg Boss 13 ends. However, is the current cast will be approached for the spin-off or not, has not been confirmed yet. We tried reaching the actors of the show but were unable to get through to them, till the time of filing the story.
