New Delhi, April 25: A 38-year-old painter was allegedly raping her step-daughter aged 14 years, for the past two years  in south east Delhi's Jaitpur area. According to a report on PTI, it was on April 20 that police was informed about the crime. The mother of the victim had taken her to a government hospital, after she started feeling unwell. The dispensary informed the Delhi Child Protection Unit (DCPU) for further action, police said.

After this, a case was registered and, the accused was arrested two days later. He was allegedly sexually abusing the girl and was threatening her to not reveal about the incident to anyone.

A similar incident took place where a  22-year-old boy was arrested last Saturday after he allegedly raped his 46-year-old biological mother in Patan, Gujarat. The accused raped his mother while she was sleeping in the house, as reported by the Times of India.

On Tuesday, a minor girl was allegedly gang-raped by a group of three people in a moving car in the city of Greater Noida. As per a police official, one of the three was a classmate of the victim, whereas another one was a distant relative. The third accused is unidentified as the girl has not been able to identify him. After the girl had failed to return home on time, in the evening, the parents of the girl registered the complaint with the police.
