Gurugram Company MD Booked for Allegedly Raping Former HR Employee in Rewari

A managing director of a private company has been booked for allegedly raping his former HR executive after taking her from Gurugram to Rewari on the pretext of work, police said. A Zero FIR was initially registered at the Women's Police Station in Gurugram's Sector 51 before the case was transferred to Rewari, where the alleged incidents took place.

A managing director of a private company has been booked for allegedly raping his former HR executive after taking her from Gurugram to Rewari on the pretext of work, police said. A Zero FIR was initially registered at the Women's Police Station in Gurugram's Sector 51 before the case was transferred to Rewari, where the alleged incidents took place. The complainant, who is from Assam, told police that she had worked as a Senior Operations and HR Executive at the company and travelled to different cities, including Rewari, as part of her job.

According to her complaint, the MD took her to Rewari on January 15, citing official work. She alleged that after reaching a flat, he sexually assaulted her. When she resisted, she claimed that the accused threatened her and said he had a gun, while also referring to a 'Guruji' who could allegedly make girls disappear. Woman Allegedly Pressured To Continue Working

The woman said she started looking for another job in February and joined a new company on March 2. However, she alleged that the accused continued to pressure her to work for her former employer. She further alleged that she was taken to Rewari again on May 9 and sexually assaulted. She also claimed that she was stopped from attending the office on May 20.  According to her complaint, she was taken to Rewari for a third time on August 2. During this period, she became pregnant and informed the accused about it. She alleged that he subsequently threatened her, including over her unborn child. Zero FIR Transferred to Rewari Police

The woman later approached the Women's Police Station in Gurugram's Sector 51 and filed a complaint. A senior police officer said a Zero FIR was registered in Gurugram because the complaint was lodged there, but the case was transferred to Rewari's Model Town Police Station since the alleged incidents occurred in Rewari.

Rewari police have registered a case under Sections 64(2)(m) and 351(3) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS). Police said an investigation is underway. The allegations are part of the complaint and have not been established in court. The identity of the accused has not been disclosed in the report.
