The National Testing Agency (NTA) will open the online registration window for the Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) Main 2020 exam from today, September 3, 2019. The application procedure has started for the students who are willing to appear in the January 2020 JEE Main exam. Note that NTA will activate the JEE Main 2020 registration link on the official websites; jeemain.nic.in and nta.ac.in from 11:00 am today. Candidates are advised to go through the detailed instructions and eligibility criteria as mentioned online for NTA JEE Main 2020 before beginning the registration. Along with it, various important documents are needed for students to apply in NTA JEE Main 2020.

NTA earlier was about to begin the online registration process for JEE Main 2020 from September 2, 2019. However, the date was postponed to September 3 and the reason behind the delay has not been revealed by the conducting body. The JEE Main 2020 online registration link will be available until September 30, 2019.

JEE Main 2020 Registration: Documents Needed

  • Passport-sized photograph with date and signature

  • Scanned copy of signature to upload online

  • Date of birth certificate or class 10 passing certificate

  • Class 10 and class 12 board exam mark sheet

  • Other education qualification certificates

  • EWS, PWD, SC/ ST or other reservation certificates (if applicable)

After the successful completion of JEE Main 2020 January registration, NTA will next activate the mock test and sample paper link. Students can through it and understand the exam paper pattern before appearing in the main examination. NTA will conduct the JEE Main first session from January 6 to January 11, 2020. The admit cards for the exam will be available for students to download from December 6, 2019.
