The Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) have started the online application process for paramedical jobs in Indian Railways under CEN 05/26, giving nursing, pharmacy, laboratory and allied health candidates a chance at a central government job. The recruitment drive is for a total of 590 vacancies, and interested candidates can apply through the regional websites of the RRBs until 11:59 pm on October 14, 2026. The examination dates have not been announced yet, and the Computer-based Test (CBT) schedule will be shared later on the official RRB website.

Candidates can submit their applications till 11:59 pm on October 14. The last date to pay the application fee is October 16, 2026 (Friday). The application correction window will then open on October 17 and remain available till October 26, 2026. RRB Paramedical Application Fee and Refund Rules
General category candidates have to pay an application fee of INR 500, out of which INR 400 will be refunded after they appear in the CBT.
SC, ST, Ex-Servicemen, PwBD, Female, Transgender and EBC candidates have to pay INR 250, and the full amount will be refunded after they appear in the CBT, subject to applicable bank charges. The refund will be given only to candidates who actually appear for the CBT.
