The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has released the Group D recruitment exam details on its official website; indianrailways.gov.in. In an official notice, RRB announced the exam date for the Level 1 post recruitment to likely commence from September 17. However, a valid time, city and shift details will be made live ten days before the commencement of Computer-based Test (CBT). Meanwhile, the Indian Railways has published the exam pattern and section-wise marks for the Group D recruitment exam 2018. RRB Recruitment Group D Exam Date 2018 Announced. 

According to the notification, the Group D CBT will be comprised of 100 questions which will be divided into four sections; Mathematics (25 questions), General Intelligence and Reasoning (30 questions), General Science (25 questions), General Awareness and Current Affairs (20 questions). The RRB official notice reads, “The section wise distribution given above is only indicative and there may be some variations in the actual question papers.” All the candidates will get 90 minutes to answer them, while the PwD candidates accompanied by a scribe will be given 120 minutes. Indian Railways Adopts Strict Measures to Avoid Cheating Menace During ALP & Technician Exams. 

Those who will clear the CBT will appear in the Physical Efficiency Test (PET), where a candidate’s physical capabilities will be tested by means of some tasks. RRB is organising to what is termed as the largest recruitment drive in the world. At present, Group C exams are going on. It is speculated that once these exams are over, the recruitment board will announce the confirmed date for Group D exams. There are a total of 62,907 positions in which about 1.89 crore aspirants have applied, and the exams will continue for at least 45 days.
