NTA conducted the UGC NET June 2026 examination for 87 subjects. The provisional answer key PDFs and objection window have been released for 84 subjects. However, the answer keys for English, Commerce and Sociology have been kept on hold pending the committee's review.

According to NTA, the committee will examine the complaints received regarding different types of errors in the question papers of English, Commerce and Sociology. Based on the committee's recommendations, the testing agency will issue a separate public notice regarding these three subjects later today, August 16. The UGC NET June 2026 answer key for the remaining 84 subjects was released today, August 16. Candidates can check their provisional answer keys and raise objections within the prescribed deadline.
UGC NET 2026 Answer Key Objection Window
The UGC NET June 2026 answer key objection window is open from August 16 to August 18, 2026. Candidates who believe that an answer in the provisional key is incorrect can submit challenges along with supporting academic evidence during the objection period. NTA said that valid objections will be reviewed by subject experts before the final answer key is prepared.
