UPTET Answer Key 2026 Released at upessc.up.gov.in, Here’s How To Download

The Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission (UPESSC) has released the provisional answer key for the Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET) 2026 on its official website. Candidates who appeared for the exam, held on July 2, 3 and 4, can now download the answer key for Paper 1 and Paper 2 and check their responses ahead of the final result.

The answer key was released on July 8, 2026, and the objection window is open until July 14, 2026.

How To Download The UPTET Answer Key 2026

Candidates can download the answer key by visiting the official website, upessc.up.gov.in, and navigating to the UPTET Exam Portal. Login requires a 10 digit roll number and date of birth in DDMMYYYY format.

Once logged in, candidates need to select their paper, either Paper 1 for the Primary Level or Paper 2 for the Upper Primary Level, and choose the correct booklet series code, Set A, B, C or D, to match their own question paper. How To Raise Objections

Candidates who find any answer incorrect in the provisional key can challenge it through the official objection portal, which is open from 6 PM on July 8 to 11:59 PM on July 14, 2026. Objections submitted through any channel other than the online portal will not be considered.

To raise an objection, candidates must log in with their registration details, select the relevant question booklet and question number, and upload supporting evidence from NCERT or SCERT textbooks. No Negative Marking, Result Timeline

There is no negative marking in UPTET 2026, meaning candidates can estimate their probable score by simply counting correct answers against the provisional key. The exam was conducted across multiple centres in Uttar Pradesh, with lakhs of candidates appearing for the two papers.

Once the objection window closes, UPESSC will review all valid challenges and incorporate any corrections into the final answer key. The UPTET 2026 result will be prepared based on this final key and is expected to be declared in the coming weeks, though the commission has not confirmed an official result date.
