According to reports, Kavita alleged that Ajay had been leaving home regularly on the pretext of going to work but was instead meeting another woman. The couple has reportedly been married for around 14 years and has two sons. After receiving information that Ajay was in Brijghat with another woman, Kavita reached the area with family members. They reportedly found Ajay near a guest house while he was getting two plates of chole bhature packed. Kavita confronted him, following which an argument broke out in the middle of the market. A crowd gathered at the spot, and the dispute reportedly escalated into a physical altercation involving Ajay and Kavita's family. Ajay, however, denied his wife's allegations. He reportedly claimed that he was not with any woman and had come to Brijghat alone because he was under mental stress due to problems at home.
The two plates of chole bhature became a point of contention during the argument. Kavita questioned why Ajay had ordered two plates if he was alone, according to reports. The dispute eventually reached the Brijghat police outpost. Police intervened and spoke to both sides. The matter was subsequently resolved after both parties agreed to settle the dispute, following which Ajay and Kavita returned home. Reports indicate that no serious incident or further legal action was reported after the settlement. The allegations regarding Ajay's relationship with another woman were made by his wife, while Ajay denied them.
