Mumbai, November 26: The Mumbai Police has dedicated a video tribute to the brave policemen and security forces personnel who lost their lives fighting the terrorists in the 26/11 terror attacks on the 10th anniversary of the attacks. In the video, policemen and policewomen speak in Marathi and convey the message that the brave martyrs will never be forgotten by the Mumbaikars. 26/11 Anniversary: Stories of Courage and Valour of Men Who Laid Down Their Lives to Save Mumbai.

Remembering the heroes, the Mumbai Police wrote in the caption of the video that "They continue to live in our hearts & memories ever after. A tribute to the martyrs of 2611 Attack" and used the hashtag #RememberingTheHeroes. Watch the video in the tweet below:

On the night of 26 November, 2018, ten heavily-armed terrorists trained by terrorist organisation Lashkar-e-Taiba, sneaked through the Arabian Sea and attacked multiple locations in South Mumbai killing 166 persons, including 18 Indian security personnel and 26 foreign nationals and left another 300 injured, besides inflicting huge damage to public and private properties including the iconic Taj Hotel and killing scores of people at the CST station. The only terrorist captured alive was Ajmal Kasab, who was hanged in the year 2012 after going through the trial for waging war on India.
