A shocking case has emerged from Agra, where a woman has accused her husband and in-laws of operating a s*x racket, extortion, domestic violence and blackmail. Based on her complaint, the Agra Police have registered an FIR and launched an investigation into the allegations.
According to the victim's family, the marriage took place on November 26, 2025. Before the wedding, the groom's family allegedly claimed that he was employed in a high-paying job at a multinational company in Hyderabad. However, the woman later discovered that several of these claims were allegedly false. Bihar S*x Racket: Girls Injected to Look Older, Forced Into Pregnancy; Babies Allegedly Sold for INR 5 Lakh.
The victim's mother alleged that shortly after the marriage, the husband, his parents and his sister began demanding INR 21 lakh in cash along with a car. The family also allegedly extorted an additional INR 10 lakh under the guise of honeymoon expenses.
The woman further claimed that she was subjected to physical abuse by her husband during the honeymoon. According to the complaint, the situation worsened after she discovered WhatsApp conversations suggesting that her husband, mother-in-law and sister-in-law were allegedly plotting against her. S*x Racket Busted in Navi Mumbai: Prostitution Ring Operating from Spa Exposed; 7 Women, Including 4 Thai Nationals, Rescued.
After a brief stay at her parental home, the woman returned to her in-laws' residence following reconciliation efforts. It was then that she allegedly discovered hidden recording devices installed in her bedroom and bathroom.
The victim alleged that secretly recorded videos were later used to blackmail and harass her. She also claimed to have found illicit substances and certain medicines in the possession of her husband and his siblings.
According to the FIR, the alleged harassment eventually escalated into a violent assault. Following the incident, the woman reportedly suffered severe bleeding and was rushed to a hospital by her family. Medical treatment could not save her two-and-a-half-month pregnancy, and she subsequently suffered a miscarriage.
The victim's family later conducted a background check and alleged that the groom's employment records, salary slips and property claims had been fabricated. They claimed that the luxury home presented as the family's residence actually belonged to the husband's maternal grandmother, while claims of owning property in Hyderabad were also found to be false.
Agra Police have begun investigating the allegations mentioned in the FIR. Authorities are examining the claims related to extortion, domestic violence, hidden-camera recordings, blackmail and the alleged s*x racket. Further legal action will depend on the findings of the ongoing investigation.
