Sources said the flight landed safely at Jaipur airport at around 9:40 am, following which a full emergency was declared at the airport. The aircraft is currently undergoing checks to determine the nature of the reported technical issue.

“The aircraft landed safely at Jaipur and is undergoing checks in line with Air India's safety standards. Air India regrets the inconvenience caused to passengers by this unforeseen situation and every effort is being made to fly the passengers to their destination at the earliest,” the airline said.

“At Air India, the safety of our passengers and crew remain top priority,” the airline said.
According to airline sources, passengers were subsequently transported to Delhi by road and had reached the national capital. The aircraft remains at Jaipur airport while technical checks are being carried out.
The incident comes amid heightened attention on flight safety and aircraft technical issues. Air India has said that the aircraft was diverted following established procedures and that passenger and crew safety remained the airline's top priority.
