Patna, September 30: Former Bihar Chief Minister Rabri Devi on Monday allowed Aishwarya Rai, Tej Pratap Yadav’s estranged wife, to enter the house after she reportedly sat on a dharna. To end the high-voltage drama outside Rashtriya Janata Dal chief Lalu Prasad Yadav's residence, the gates of the residence were opened at around 1 am on the intervening night of Sunday and Monday. Prior to this, Aishwarya on Sunday said that she was evicted from the house. She alleged that she was ill-treated and not provided food for the last three months by her in-laws. She said that she was not allowed to enter the kitchen on instructions of Misa Bharti. For the last three months, she was lasting on the food sent by her parents, she said.

According to reports, Aishwarya wants her relationship to work out with Tej Pratap and hence she was staying at 10, Circular Road, Patna even after her husband had filed a divorce petition six months ago.

Aishwarya Rai and Tej Pratap Yadav were married in May 2018. Aishwarya's father Chandrika Rai, senior RJD leader, said that he was ashamed that he married her daughter in such a family. Earlier this month, Aishwarya had stormed out of her in-laws' house with tears in eyes. However, she returned back after an hour, but after a few minutes was seen rapidly walking out of the house, wiping tears with her dupatta.
