Anu Collis, also known as Anu Rani, a Meerut sub-inspector who was suspended seven days ago over an objectionable reel, went live on YouTube for the first time on Saturday to respond to influencer Amit Kilhor, who had first made her video go viral. Wearing the same dress in which her video had gone viral, Anu said Kilhor has now deleted that video from his social media account and is apologising to her brother. Anu Rani is a Sub-Inspector from the 2023 batch who had earlier arrested Muskan in Meerut, the woman accused of cutting her husband into pieces and stuffing them in a blue drum.

Anu Collis, referred to online as Anu Rani, is a UP Police Sub-Inspector from the 2023 batch, originally from Prayagraj. In Meerut, she was first posted at Rohta police station, Brahmpuri, and later at the SSP office. On August 16, 2026 (Sunday), she was suspended with immediate effect on the orders of then SSP Avinash Pandey over alleged violation of police conduct rules and an objectionable video that went viral. Anu Questions Amit Kilhor's Actions

Addressing Kilhor directly during the live session, Anu asked why he took her personal photos and videos from her social media accounts and shared them without her consent, calling it a cybercrime. She questioned why he deleted the video later and is now apologising to her brother, saying her 20-25 years of hard work and career have been destroyed. She said she decided to go live because no one had taken her side, adding that her brother had earlier spoken up but few had paid attention. Anu also said, "My name is Anu Collis, not Anu Rani. 'Why Didn't You File A Complaint', Anu Asks

Anu asked why Kilhor did not file a formal complaint or FIR if he believed her content was obscene, questioning why he did not approach her department or her SSP directly despite having her contact number. She suggested his actions were driven by a desire for more views rather than genuine concern.

Clarifies On The Viral Dress

Anu addressed the frock shown in the viral video, saying she had bought it with her mother from a mall in Agra and that it was a normal outfit. She said she is an Anglo-Indian and Roman Catholic, and that such clothing is considered normal in her household, with no objection from her parents or brother.

Says She Has Been Under Distress

Anu said she has been confined to a room for several days and has been receiving death threats, with inappropriate remarks being made about her family. She denied allegations of running "s*x chat" content and said she is willing to have her and her family's bank accounts investigated to verify claims of funding.

Denies Wrongdoing, Says Ready For Investigation

Anu said she runs a fitness and food-related channel under the name Selina, alongside her original channel Anu, and said her videos are meant to motivate people toward fitness. She said the viral video in question does not exist on any of her official channels and questioned its origin. She added that a senior police officer had told her she had defamed the department, even after his own AI-generated deepfake video had gone viral. Anu said she stands by her name and will not resign, and reiterated her willingness to cooperate with any investigation into the matter.
