A 22-year-old law student has died after battling for life for more than two days following a knife attack in Bengaluru's Kodihalli area. Police said the woman was allegedly stabbed by the brother of a man whose marriage proposal she had rejected. Rejected Proposal Led to Attack, Say Police

According to the preliminary investigation, Amrutha, the accused Dhanush G, and his younger brother Surya G were residents of the same locality and knew each other.

Police said Dhanush had reportedly proposed marriage to Amrutha, but she had rejected the proposal after learning that he had concealed the fact that he was already married. Investigators allege that following the rejection, Dhanush's younger brother Surya confronted and attacked her with a knife. Police Investigation Underway
