Lucknow, December 26: A Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader, Mohammad Miya, in Uttar Pradesh's Sambhal, was caught on camera assaulting a specially-abled man for criticising the state government and raising slogans in favour of Akhilesh Yadav's Samajwadi Party. The man who is seen facing the assault is heard shouting that he will vote for Samajwadi Party. In the viral clip, Miya can be seen hitting the man and poking a stick into his mouth. The man can be heard shouting "Vote denge Akhilesh ko (We will vote for Akhilesh Yadav)." However, BJP Leader, Mohammad Miya on Wednesday denied all the allegations saying that its a conspiracy to malign BJP. Miya also denied that he shove a stick into his mouth.

"He was abusing Modi Ji and Yogi Ji, I tried to first explain things, he was drunk, it was a conspiracy to malign BJP, I was just trying to make him leave the place. I didn't shove a stick in his mouth," Miya told ANI.
