The residents immediately informed the police who got in touch with the forest department. According to a tweet by news agency ANI, a crocodile was caught in a residential area in Naya Ganj on Friday. The reptile was spotted when some people went out for a morning walk and they saw a crocodile in the locality. Crocodile Rescued in Shahjahanpur:

Earlier, in a bizarre incident, a woman died after sitting on a pair of snakes while talking on a phone in Gorakhpur's Riyanv village. The woman, identified as Gita, was talking to her husband when snakes bit her. Within minutes, she fell unconscious. She was rushed to the hospital, where she died during treatment.
