The arrest follows the capture of the lead accused, Kalyan Bainsla, a gym owner and former kabaddi player, who was apprehended earlier in Rajasthan. Law enforcement agencies traced Bainsla to a location between Dausa and Rajgarh after he fled the area and disabled his mobile phone. The case originated from an incident on Sunday morning, September 13, when a female sports bike rider, identified as Sia, was chased, stalked, and struck by a car on Golf Course Road while riding with a group of motorcyclists. Police initially registered the case after video footage captured by a fellow rider went viral online, prompting authorities to take action. Following a detailed investigation and examination of CCTV footage, investigators upgraded the charges against the accused to include Section 109 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) for attempt to murder, alongside charges of stalking and outraging the modesty of a woman. Both suspects remain in custody at the Sector 56 Police Station as the investigation continues.
