Father-in-Law Also Injured
Police said the victim's father, who tried to intervene during the incident, also suffered burn injuries after hot water was allegedly splashed on him. Both injured men were taken to a nearby hospital, where they are receiving medical treatment. Their condition is reported to be stable.

In his complaint, the husband alleged that his wife, along with members of her family, deliberately attacked him before leaving the house with cash and jewellery.
