Indore Murder Case: MBA Student's Nak*d Body Found After Objectionable Video Posted in College Group

Indore, February 14: An MBA student who had been missing for two days was found dead inside her classmate’s rented house in Indore on Friday, sending shockwaves across the city. Police suspect she was strangled by her male classmate, believed to be her boyfriend, who is currently absconding and has been named the prime suspect.

Nak*d Body Found in Dwarkapuri House

The case came to light after residents in the Dwarkapuri area alerted police about a foul smell coming from a locked house in their neighbourhood. Deputy Commissioner of Police Shri Krishna Lalchandani told PTI that the victim appeared to have died around two days earlier, likely due to strangulation. However, the exact cause of death will be confirmed after the post mortem examination.

Investigators believe the murder may have taken place around the time she was reported missing.

Missing Report Filed by Family

The victim, a Master of Business Administration student at a city college, had left her home on February 11, telling her family she was going to attend a birthday party. Days later, her father was called to identify her body. In a heartbreaking statement, he said he recognised his daughter from her socks.

Objectionable Video Allegedly Shared in College Group

According to the victim’s father, the accused, identified as Piyush Dhanotia from Mandsaur, had allegedly been pressuring his daughter for money. He claimed the suspect threatened to leak her private photographs if she refused.

The situation allegedly escalated when the accused reportedly shared objectionable images and a video of the victim in her college WhatsApp group. Police are examining digital evidence, including mobile phones and online communication, as part of the investigation.

Accused Boyfriend Absconding

Police confirmed that the accused, who was living in rented accommodation in Indore, remains untraceable. Officers suspect the murder may have stemmed from a rift in their romantic relationship.

A manhunt has been launched to trace the accused. The post mortem report is awaited to determine the exact cause of death. Further action will follow as more details emerge in the probe.
