According to reports, Vanitha had entered the elevator with her daughter and grandson. While the two managed to step out, the lift suddenly moved down as Vanitha was attempting to exit.
Caught off guard by the unexpected movement, she reportedly tried to escape but became trapped inside the moving elevator.
