Chief Electoral Officer Shaleen Kabra has announced the dates of municipal corporation election in Jammu and Kashmir. The Elections will be held in four phases. Date of polling would be Oct 08, Oct 10, Oct 13 & Oct 16. Counting shall take place on Oct 20 after all the phases are over. Poll hours will be from 7am to 2pm

New Delhi, Sept 15: Bringing no respite to motorists, fuel prices continue to soar across the India, with petrol turning costlier by 35 paise in Delhi and diesel going up by 24 paise. The two fuels are being sold at Rs 81.63/litre and Rs 73.54 a litre in the national capital, respectively. In Mumbai, the rate of petrol has climbed to Rs 89.01 per litre, whereas, diesel is being charged at Rs 78.07. In the political realm, BJP president Amit Shah will kick-off a high-voltage electoral campaign in poll-bound Telangana.
