J&K: Awantipora Police, along with 50 RR & 110 Bn CRPF, carried out search at a house & busted one hideout in its cowshed, in Pampore today. Police had received information regarding presence of LeT terrorists in a hideout, after which search was done.

Incriminating material of proscribed outfit Lashker-e-Taiba and 26 round of bullets of AK-47 were recovered from the said hideout. Case registered under Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act and one terrorist arrested.

Among major international news, a major accident was reported yesterday in Indonesia, as a flight of Sriwijaya Air suffered a crash. The plane lost contact minutes after take-off from Jakarta, and its debris were recovered hours later. Body parts were also reportedly found. All 59 onboard are feared to be killed in the crash.
