‘Mera Muh Tod Diya, Stop These Goons’: Gurugram Road Rage Video Goes Viral, 2 Students Arrested

Two college students were arrested in Gurugram after an alleged road rage incident in which a man was assaulted and his car vandalised following a dispute over giving way on the road, police said.

The accused, identified as Parth and Paras, both 22-year-old BBA students and residents of Sector 48, were taken into custody after videos of the incident surfaced on social media.

According to the complaint, the incident took place on the stretch between Sohna Road and Rajiv Chowk. The two students were allegedly travelling in a Scorpio SUV when they got into an argument with the driver of an MG Windsor car.

The complainant alleged that the accused stopped his vehicle, smashed its windowpanes and assaulted him with sticks. He claimed that he suffered injuries and was left bleeding following the attack.

In a video recorded from inside the car, the driver can be heard pleading for help and confronting the accused. "Why are you doing this? What have you done? Mera muh tod diya (They smashed my face). Stop these goons," he is heard saying.

In another video recorded after the incident, the man alleged that his car was damaged and that he was beaten during the road rage confrontation.

Police acted after the videos went viral online. The accused were arrested within hours, and the Scorpio SUV allegedly used in the incident was seized.

Officials said the two students are being questioned, and further legal proceedings are underway. The investigation into the matter is continuing.
