New Delhi, December 17: The Supreme Court on Tuesday postponed the hearing of a review plea by one of the four convicts of Nirbhaya gangrape and murder case. The hearing, which was scheduled for today, will take place tomorrow after Chief Justice of India SA Bobde recused himself from the case. On December 10, Akshay Singh had filed the review plea challenging his death sentence. He asked top court to spare his saying that it is anyway getting short due to air and water pollution in Delhi. Among the four convicts, Singh was the only one who had filed a mercy plea before. The convicts have been kept in Jail number 3 of Delhi's Tihar prison, where they are kept in separate cells. They have been allowed to meet family members once every fourteen days.
