Prabhat Yadav Booked After Doctor Accuses UP BJP Leader of Drugging Her, Recording Objectionable Videos for Extortion

A BJP functionary in Uttar Pradesh, Prabhat Yadav, has been booked after a doctor accused him of allegedly administering an intoxicating substance to her and recording objectionable videos and photographs to extort money.

According to police officials, the complainant alleged that Prabhat Yadav, who served as BJP district minister, later subjected her to continuous physical and mental harassment while also demanding money from her.

An FIR has been registered against Yadav at Chandpur police station, and an investigation is currently underway.

Following the allegations, BJP district president Bhupendra Chauhan confirmed that Prabhat Yadav has been expelled from the party. Police said further action will be taken based on the findings of the investigation.

The case has triggered political attention in Uttar Pradesh amid serious allegations involving harassment, extortion and abuse of power.
