Pune: 23-Year-Old Woman 'Raped Twice' on Gunpoint by Her Colleague

Pune, November 5: In a shocking case from Pune, a 23-year-old woman has filed a police complaint alleging that she was raped on two occasions by the senior official of the company, she was working for. The victim has filed a police complaint in Bharati Vidyapeeth Police Station on November 3, reported Mirror now. The woman had alleged that company's partner, Digambar Agawane, raped her at a gunpoint. The accused also threatened her and said, "If you tell anyone about this, I will kill your family. The victim had been working with the company for the last few days," police officials were quoted as saying. "The accused is been absconding since a police complaint has been filed against him. We are trying to nab the accused and further investigation is going on," they further added.

Earlier last week, a 30-year-old autorickshaw driver was held for allegedly kidnapping and raping a teenage girl from Pune's Mahape. The incident took place on March 23 but the accused was arrested on November 4. The girl was an orphan and was living with her grandmother. After completing her SSC, the girl started working in a company at Mahape MIDC. The accused knew her office timing and reacher her office gate to take her.

Later, he took her to the forest and raped her. The victim remembered auto's registration number which helped police to nab him. The accused was arrested under sections 376 (rape), 363 (kidnapping) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and the relevant sections of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act.
