Nandana, who runs the YouTube channel ‘Nandu’s World’, reportedly appeared before the Ibrahimpatnam police on Tuesday after being directed to do so in connection with the case. She was accompanied by her mother and lawyers.
Why Was YouTuber Rama Nandana Questioned?
The case was reportedly registered after a complaint by Sivakranthi Kumar of Ibrahimpatnam, who alleged that around INR 15 lakh had been collected from him in connection with promises of an overseas job and visa assistance. Police questioned Nandana about her alleged connection with Destiny Consultancy, which was reportedly operating from London. Investigators also sought details about who owned and managed the consultancy and whether Nandana had any role in its operations.

YouTuber Rama Nandana, who was questioned by Ibrahimpatnam police in a visa fraud case on Tuesday, said she had no involvement in the affairs of Destiny Consultancy, which was operating from London.

According to reports, Nandana told police that she had no involvement in the consultancy's affairs. She reportedly said that her husband, Madhukar, and an accountant handled the consultancy's operations.
Police Question Nandana For Around Four Hours
Nandana was reportedly detained by immigration officials after arriving at Shamshabad Airport on Monday. Officials allegedly found a lookout notice linked to her name during immigration checks and subsequently informed the police.

Police were reportedly not satisfied with some of her answers and issued another notice directing her to appear for further questioning on September 16.
More People Allegedly Approach Police Over Visa Fraud
The Ibrahimpatnam police are also reportedly looking into allegations made by several people from Addanki in Prakasam district.
According to the complaints, individuals allegedly paid money for overseas employment, visa processing, visa renewals and related services but later faced problems.
Another case has reportedly been registered at Addanki police station over allegations involving money collected in the name of visa renewal and a Certificate of Sponsorship through a consultancy.
The allegations against Nandana remain part of an ongoing police investigation and have not been established as facts by a court.
Nandana’s Return From US Sparks Speculation
Nandana had reportedly been staying abroad and recently returned to Hyderabad from the United States on an Emirates flight.
Her return has also triggered speculation on social media. One claim doing the rounds is that she returned to Hyderabad for a possible Bigg Boss Telugu 10 wildcard entry. However, this remains unconfirmed, and there is no verified information that Nandana was set to enter the reality show.
Meanwhile, her statement to the media has added further attention to the visa fraud controversy. By saying that she had done nothing wrong, Nandana has strongly denied the allegations reportedly made against her.
The police are expected to continue questioning her and other individuals connected to the consultancy. Further investigation will determine the exact nature of the alleged transactions and whether any criminal liability is established.
