Four more people, including two women, have been arrested in connection with the firing at Bollywood actor Tiger Shroff’s car in Mumbai’s Juhu area, as investigators widen their probe into the alleged weapon supply network behind the October 18 attack. The accused were arrested by the Delhi Police Special Cell in Delhi and Haryana and subsequently placed under Mumbai Police custody for further questioning.

The four accused have been identified as Kunal, 21, and Sumit, 19, both from Haryana’s Sonipat district, and Radha, 23, and Babita, 23, from Uttar Pradesh. Police suspect they helped arrange and transport the firearm and ammunition allegedly used by the shooters.

The latest arrests follow the apprehension of three alleged shooters in Rajasthan’s Kota. Four Accused Arrested in Delhi and Haryana

According to police officials, Radha and Babita were arrested at New Delhi Railway Station, while Kunal and Sumit were apprehended in Sonipat on October 20. The four were initially produced before a court by the Delhi Police Special Cell. Maharashtra Police’s Crime Investigation Department (CID) subsequently sought permission to formally arrest and interrogate them. The court approved the request and granted Mumbai Police three days of transit remand to bring the accused to Mumbai for further investigation.

How the Alleged Weapon Supply Network Operated

Police allege that Kunal collected a pistol and 20 rounds of ammunition from Amritsar on the instructions of a person identified as Anil Pandit, who is suspected of coordinating the operation. Investigators say Kunal communicated with Pandit through an encrypted messaging application. He allegedly persuaded Radha to carry the weapon to Mumbai, with Babita accompanying her on the journey.

According to the police account reported by India Today and The Indian Express, the two women travelled to Mumbai by train on October 15 and arrived in the city on October 17. They reportedly checked into a hotel near Dadar, where a minor boy allegedly collected the bag containing the weapon. Investigators are examining the alleged roles of each accused, the movement of the firearm and ammunition, and communications between the suspects before and after the shooting. Three Suspected Shooters Arrested in Kota

Before the latest arrests, police apprehended three alleged shooters in Kota, Rajasthan. They were identified as Hrithik Kumar, also known as Roshan, 22, from Bihar, and Rehan Rahisuddin and Phool Singh, both 18, from Haryana. The three were arrested on October 19 and are suspected of carrying out the shooting at Shroff’s car the previous evening. Mumbai Police were expected to bring them to Mumbai on October 21 for further questioning.

Investigators are also trying to establish who communicated with the alleged shooters before and immediately after the attack, and whether they received instructions from a handler.

The shooting took place around 7 pm on October 18 in Mumbai’s Juhu area, near a football ground visited by Shroff. According to media reports citing the police investigation, two men allegedly opened fire at the actor’s BMW while a third person was on a motorcycle to facilitate their escape. Shroff escaped unharmed, but his driver and a bystander were reported injured.

Police are examining CCTV footage, call records and other evidence to reconstruct the sequence of events and determine how the alleged attackers obtained information about the actor’s movements.

The case has drawn attention to the alleged links between the suspects and the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. Anil Pandit, who reportedly claimed responsibility for the shooting in an audio message, is among the individuals whose alleged role investigators are examining. A separate line of investigation is examining whether Shroff was the original target or whether the attackers changed their target because of security considerations surrounding another high-profile individual. Police have not publicly established all the details of the alleged plan.

The investigation is continuing, with police seeking to establish the chain of command, the source of the weapon and the extent of each accused person’s involvement.
