New Delhi, September 2: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Monday recorded the statement of the Unnao rape survivor in New Delhi's AIIMS (All India Institute of Medical Sciences), ANI sources said. The statement was recorded in connection with the accident which left her critically injured. The probing agency is yet to record the statement of rape survivor's lawyer, who is at the intensive care unit (ICU) of the Lucknow hospital. In the case, the CBI has booker 10 people, including prime accused Kuldeep Singh Sengar, for murder. Sengar has denied his involvement in the conspiracy behind the accident. The Court has booked him on charges of raping a minor.

On July 28, the car in which the rape survivor, her lawyer and two of her aunts were travelling was hit by a truck in Rae Bareli. The accident killed two women, both aunts of the victim. The lawyer is also critical and on an advanced life support system.
