Train Halted After Collision
According to preliminary information, the loco pilot applied emergency measures after spotting the obstruction but could not stop the train in time. The Vande Bharat Express struck the tractor-trolley and came to a halt shortly afterwards. Railway officials reached the spot to inspect the train and track and assess the impact of the collision.

Tractor-Trolley Had Entered Railway Track

Railway Inquiry Ordered
Railway authorities have launched an inquiry into the incident to establish how the tractor-trolley entered the track and determine the circumstances leading to the collision. Officials will also assess the extent of damage to the Vande Bharat Express and examine whether any safety procedures need to be strengthened along the route.
The incident comes amid continuing efforts by Indian Railways to improve safety on high-speed and semi-high-speed passenger services, where even an unexpected obstruction on the track can pose a significant operational risk.
