Police have arrested three youths in connection with the murder of a 17-year-old boy who was hacked to death in Baruipur, South 24 Parganas district, following a dispute over a football match. The incident, which occurred late Monday, triggered widespread local protests and led to the vandalization of a police outpost at a local hospital. The victim, identified as Prosenjit, was reportedly attacked with sharp weapons in the Fultala area of Baruipur.
