The current MP of this seat is Suresh Angadi from Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP). For the upcoming Lok Sabha Election 2019, BJP has nominated Suresh Chanabasappa Angadi whereas Indian National Congress (INC) has selected Virupakshi S Sadhunnavar to compete for General Election 2019.
