Bengaluru, July 4: The Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP)'s total station survey has revealed that 63 buildings have defaulted on property tax and the amount pending is a mammoth Rs 559 crore. Karnataka CM HD Kumaraswamy has reacted on Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP)'s total station survey which names his family including former Prime Minister HD Deve Gowda claiming that the family defaulted on property tax. This is what the Chief Minister of Karnataka had to say about the claims of BBMP:
Everything is remitted, all this news is mischief, there is conspiracy. We are a rule abiding family: Karnataka CM HD Kumaraswamy on Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP)'s total station survey has revealed that former PM HD Deve Gowda's family defaulted on property tax pic.twitter.com/UZZ9XLlRds

Interestingly, the first photograph to appear on the website of the Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) is that of HD Kumaraswamy as he is the Chief Minister of the state. The overall defaulted amount given by the BBMP is huge and the name of former PM Deve Gowda's family can be an embarrassment for the former PM's family. However, Deve Gowda's son and Karnataka Chief Minister has outrightly denied the claims of the Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike and said that all the dues have been settled.
