Ranchi, December 23: In the latest trends, Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) is emerging as the single largest party in the state. At present, the JMM is leading in 27 seats, while the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is ahead in 26 seats. According to to reports, JMM leader Hemant Soren is likely to stake claim to form government in the state. Soren, who contested on two seats, has won from Barhait seat. However, incumbent CM Raghubar Dar is trailing from Jameshpur East assembly constituency. Meanwhile, All Jharkhand Student Union (AJSIU) is ahead in 4 constituencies, whereas, the Jharkhand Vikas Morcha (Prajatantarik) is leading in 3 seats. AJSU’s Sudesh Mahto has extended lead in Silli constituency by over 17,000 votes. As per the latest trend, he is ahead of JMM's Seema Devi by a total of 17,125 votes. The voting for 81-member Jharkhand Assembly began at 8 am on Monday. The voting for Jharkhand Assembly took place in five phases.
