New Delhi, March 10: The Lok Sabha Elections 2019 will take place in the country in the months of April and May. The General Elections schedule was announced by the Election Commission of India (ECI) on Sunday, March 10.  Voting will take place for the 543 Lok Sabha seats in seven phases between April 11 and May 19. The counting of votes for all seven phases will take place together on May 23. Voting will take place in Phase IV on April 29, six days after voting for Phase III. In the fourth phase, 71 Lok Sabha constituencies in 9 states will go to polls. Here are the important dates to remember in Phase 4 of General Elections 2019:

Voting for the fourth phase of Odisha Assembly Elections 2019 will also take place on April 29 along with the fourth phase of Lok Sabha Elections 2019. Voting will take place on EVMs as well as VVPAT machines on all polling booths this election. At least 900 million voters are expected to cast their votes in the biggest elections in the country starting from April 11.
