New Delhi, May 25: With speculations going around that the Narendra Modi would take the oath of Prime Minister on May 30 for the second consecutive term, the BJP stalwart on Saturday announced on social media that he would visit Gujarat tomorrow evening to seek blessings of his mother. Earlier, in the morning on Sunday, Modi would also visit his Lok Sabha constituency Varanasi to thank the voters for choosing him.

Informing about his plans for Sunday, Narendra Modi took to Twitter and wrote, "Will be going to Gujarat tomorrow evening, to seek blessings of my Mother. Earlier, information arrived that PM Narendra Modi would resign in the evening on Saturday after heading the NDA meeting to decide on the Union Cabinet Ministers. As per the reports, Nirmala Sitharaman, Smriti Irani, Rajnath Singh, Piyush Goyal and Ravi Shankar Prasad are expected to get the prominent post in the BJP government this time. NDA secured a thumping victory by clinching 352-plus seats in the Lok Sabha Elections 2019.
