Results for the Perambalur Lok Sabha Constituency in Tamil Nadu has been declared by the Election Commission of India (ECI). Dr TR Paarivendhar of the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) has won the seat. The counting of votes for the Perambalur Lok Sabha Constituency began at 8 AM on Thursday, May 23. This is one of the 39 Parliamentary constituencies in Tamil Nadu which went to poll on April 18.

In Tamil Nadu, all the 39 constituency seats in the state will got to poll on April 18. The last day of filing nomination for the polls in March 26 while the last day of withdrawal of candidature is March 29. The counting of votes will be done on May 23.

In the 2014 Lok Sabha Polls, Marutharajaa of the Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK) party had won the Perambalur seat by defeating DMK candidate Seemanur Prabu. Marutharajaa had won the Perambalur seat by 462,693 votes.
