Hyderabad, November 20: Vishweshwar Reddy, Member of Parliament (MP) from Chevella Konda, has resigned from Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) party ahead of the Telangana Assembly Elections 2018. Reddy, in a long letter addressed to party chief KCR, has pointed out and said that "We as a government were becoming inaccessible to the people." Reddy said that in the last two years, TRS as a party "were becoming more and more distant from the very people, whom we had once represented extremely well." However, the MP also thanked KCR for "always been polite and kind" to him. Check the ANI tweet below containing the letter of the MP:

In September, the state cabinet passed a resolution for dissolution of the assembly at the meeting held at Pragati Bhavan, the official residence of Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao. Immediately after dissolving the assembly, the chief minister announced the names of 105 candidates which will be contesting the assembly elections on Telangana Rashtriya Samithi’s ticket.
