New Delhi, January 10: The Ministry of Defence has officially commenced the offline sale of tickets for the 77th Republic Day Parade and the subsequent Beating Retreat ceremonies. Starting January 5, designated physical counters have been established at six high-traffic locations across the national capital to accommodate citizens who prefer in-person bookings over the digital portal. Tickets for the main parade on January 26 are priced at INR 20 and INR 100, and authorities have emphasised that a limited daily quota is being released on a first-come, first-served basis.

Designated Offline Counter Locations for Republic Day Parade Tickets

To decentralise the crowd and provide easier access for the public, the government has authorised six specific venues for ticket sales. These counters are operational daily from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM and 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM until January 14, 2026. Republic Day Parade 2026: From Cameras and Laptops to Matchboxes, Delhi Police Issues List of Banned Items for 77th R-Day Celebrations at Kartavya Path.

  • Shastri Bhawan: Near Gate No. 3 (inside the boundary wall).
  • Jantar Mantar: Main Gate (inside the boundary wall).
  • Parliament House: Reception area.
  • Rajiv Chowk Metro Station: D Block, near Gates 3 and 4.

Mandatory Identification and Norms

The procurement of tickets, even in offline mode, remains strictly regulated by security protocols. Every buyer must present an original government-issued photo identity card at the counter. Accepted documents include Aadhaar Cards, Voter IDs, Driving Licences, PAN Cards, or Passports. Crucially, the Ministry has stated that the same original ID used during the purchase must be carried by the attendee to Kartavya Path on the day of the event for verification at security checkpoints. Republic Day Parade 2026 Tickets Go on Sale From January 5, Announces Defence Ministry; Online and Offline Options Available.
