A sight of a leopard can majorly freak one out. Leopard attacks can turn fatal, which is why it's scary to be in the vicinity of the wild. But villagers near Nashik's Dhamangaon got a rather adorable visitor, that too calmly sleeping along. A leopard cub managed to sneak into a house and also under the hem of a mosquito net in which two children were sleeping. The mother was shocked to find a cub sleeping along with her children in the house, but thankfully she did not panic immediately.

The incident took place in a tribal-dominated Igatpuri taluka in the Dhamangaon area of Nashik. The mother, Manisha Barde safely took her children out without disturbing the cub and then went on to inform the villagers. The forest officials then came in to rescue the cub. Unbelievable! Forest Circle officer Gorakshyanath Jadhav said that the little cub may have managed to enter Barde's house in the early dark of the morning after she opened the front door. Talking about the incident he said, "At around 5:30am today, Barde found the leopard cub sleeping beside her two children on the ground inside the mosquito net. She carefully took the children out of the net without disturbing the leopard. She then raised an alarm which alerted other villagers." A team of forest officials came to her house and rescued the cub. They took it to the department's local office and it would be released into the forest later.

The incident is strange, but it is also a scary call for the villagers about the leopards in the surrounding areas. Thankfully, the mother too did not panic at the sight of the cub and managed to get her kids out of the net without disturbing the cub at all.
