A video of a man saving his neighbour's dog after its leash got caught in an elevator has gone viral on social media platforms. A CCTV camera caught the dramatic rescue in Houston, Texas. The video shows a woman entering a lift holding the leash on her pup in her hand. She gets into the elevator while her dog loiters around only to get lifted up by the long leash. Johnny Mathis was returning home after parking car in his apartment complex's underground garage when the incident happened. He lived on the ground floor of his community and was taking the elevator upto his floor when the dramatic scene unfolded before him. He took to Twitter about the incident saying, "Y'all I'm shaking!!! I just saved a dog on a leash that didn’t make it onto the elevator with the owner before the door closed! After the elevator's door shut, the dog's owner can be heard crying thinking that the dog died. She then returned to the floor and was grateful to see that her dog was safe. He said that he was happy that he was of help to someone and avoid a terrible accident.
