The problem of fake news and messages grapples the entire nation and the UP Police is now also planning to set up 'Digital Armies' to keep a tab on the rumours. In all the plans, the police continue to spread awareness on their social media platform. To make it relatable to the youth, they have been using memes lately. Now as the Netflix series Sacred Games memes are going viral, they have used the same to tell the users that they are keeping an eye on the fake news.

Using Nawazuddin Siddiqui's character Ganesh Gaitonde's dialogue to convey the message that they are here to counter the fake news problem. Their message reads, "Jab tak fake news ka ye khel khatam nahi hoga, apun idharich hai." A few days ago, they used Amitabh Bachchan's iconic dialogue from the movie Deewar for the same campaign.
