In two recent Instagram posts, she signaled an end to her regular content creation. A reel posted about five days ago carried the caption "Maria Ki Video Ab Nahi Ayegi" (Maria's videos will no longer come), followed by a more recent one stating "Ab Meri Video Nahi Ayegi" (Now my videos will no longer come). She said that she is leaving vlogging because she no more likes making videos.
"Maria has quit social media. She will no longer post videos on Instagram and YouTube. She doesn't like to be on social media. She wants to do something else in life. She is growing up and she has right to take decisions. I have given her full freedom to live her life the way she wants," Maria's father Mukeem Khan announced in a reel posted on her account. He added that her Instagram and YouTube accounts won't be inactive and the family will continue to post videos. "I have worked very hard for the channels while frighting my illness," he said.
