As per multiple reports, five Model Y vehicles have already arrived in Mumbai from Tesla’s Shanghai factory. The Model Y is likely to be the first offering for Indian buyers and starts from USD 37,490 in the US. The Tesla Model Y comes in two versions, which include a Long Range Rear-Wheel Drive and Long Range All-Wheel Drive. Earlier reports indicated that Tesla India has leased a 24,565 square foot warehouse at Lodha Logistics Park in Mumbai, with the monthly rent beginning at INR 37.53 lakh. Following its Mumbai launch, Tesla is also said to be planning to open a new showroom in New Delhi.
