Elon Musk-run EV company Tesla is reportedly set to open its first retail store soon in India. As per a report of Reuters, Tesla will open its first India store in Mumbai on July 15. As per multiple reports, five Model Y vehicles have already arrived in Mumbai from Tesla’s Shanghai factory. The Model Y is likely to be the first offering for Indian buyers and starts from USD 37,490 in the US. The Tesla Model Y comes in two versions, which include a Long Range Rear-Wheel Drive and Long Range All-Wheel Drive. Earlier reports indicated that Tesla India has leased a 24,565 square foot warehouse at Lodha Logistics Park in Mumbai, with the monthly rent beginning at INR 37.53 lakh.
