Javed Akhtar in Legal Trouble; FIR Filed Against the Lyricist Over His Alleged RSS Remark
For the unware, Javed Akhtar in a recent interview ‘had drawn parallels’ between the Taliban and Hindu extremists. The FIR against the lyricist has been registered under Indian Penal Code Section 500.
As per PTI, Mumbai police has registered an FIR against lyricist Javed Akhtar on Monday over his alleged remark against the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). The complaint has been filed by city-based lawyer Santosh Dubey.
